Inflation in Russia for this year may exceed 7-8 per cent, higher than the official forecast of the authorities. This was reported by Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach.

According makroprognozu Economic Development, the inflation in the country is projected at 6-7 percent.

Klepach noted that the most difficult period will be a spring, and then prices may stop growing or even decline. This will happen after the effect of the drought.
