Former chairman of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Russia Boris Nikiti was presented with The Friendship Order

Many Russians citizens were presented with Vietnam’s Orders of Labour and Friendship for their contributions to developing the Vietnamese oil and gas sector and strengthening cooperative ties between Vietnam and Russia.

The Labour Order, first class, was conferred on chairman of Gazprom energy company Aleksey Miller and former general director of joint-venture Vietsovpetro Feliks Arzhanov.

General director of ZAO Gazprom Zarubezhneftegaz company Valery Gulew was honoured with the Labour Order, second class.

The Friendship Order was awarded to former chairman of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Russia Boris Nikiti.

Addressing the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Bui Dinh Dinh said that the conferment represents Vietnamese government and peoples’ gratitude to Russian friends for their contributions to promoting and strengthening the Vietnam-Russia strategic partnership./.
